The Colorado General Assembly and Governor Bill Owens recently passed and signed into law a state-wide smoking ban in all restaurants, bars, and most public places.
While in no way would I suggest that smoking is anything but an unhealthy and physically destructive habit, not only for the smoker, but for all those around that are forced to breath second hand smoke. "

admin writes, "Breed Banning Proposal in Longmont
The Longmont City Council is considering a ban on some, if not all breeds of dogs considered "dangerous". In fact, a pupblic hearing was held on February 15th for citizens to voice their opinions. There is also a plan for a second public hearing sometime in March to further discuss the issue.
