writes, "Relationship building is the key to being successful in any business!

Selling is all about relationships. Top sales people know to strengthen a relationship, they need to go deeper and go beyond the surface level. The stronger you make your relationships, the more you will eliminate any opportunities for your competitors. Are you willing to think outside of the box to help a client or prospect? What can you do today to strengthen and deepen a relationship?

"
Networking is the start of building a relationship by adding value to another person. The first meeting should be listening to your potential client and getting to know them.

What is the best way to get to know a person? Ask questions! Potential clients will love to have you listen to what they have to say. Questions are the successful networker’s most valuable tool.

When it comes down to is, people do business with people they like, trust and they have formed a strong relationship with.

There is a direct correlation between how much you value a person and the effectiveness of communication directed to that person. If you listen closely and are caring, you won’t make 90% of the communication errors of insensitivity.

The networking skills that have been listed above will be one of the topics offered by Higher Ground Conferences this summer. Please feel free to contact me for information regarding the summer conferences. – Space is limited!
