The state’s tourism industry benefits every Colorado citizen. Last year, total spending by overnight visitors pumped $8.2 billion into our state’s economy. While domestic travelers rank Colorado as the fifth most desirable destinations in the United States, Colorado ranks 18th in actual visitation. The Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) is working hard to close the gap between the “dreamers” and the “doers” with tourism promotion funds that will ultimately help support tourism-related jobs and enhance local and state economies.

The long planned mixed use parking and retail project for downtown Longmont has taken a step closer to becoming a reality. The Longmont City Council recently informally voted in favor of the project on the 300 block of Kimbark Street.

C&C Coins and Collectibles
People do not realize that Colorado is famous for the rare coins the Denver Mint, which opened in 1906, have produced.
The 1914-D penny (which 10 were spent in the fall of 2006 by C&C Coins to celebrate ten years in business and promote the downtown merchants) is worth over $100 each. Four coins are still out in the area.

Security is defined as a “Freedom from care, anxiety, and doubt” and “precautions taken against crime, sabotage, escape, or attack”.
In today’s world there can be no perfect “security” for a business, large or small. All of us hope that we have looked at all the loopholes, inspected all the potential problems, and each night we lock up and pray that all goes well until morning. Each new day begins with some small (and sometimes large) business arriving somewhere at their establishment, to find that they have been victimized by another thief that is too lazy to earn their way in life, and has decided to break in and rob the person that has worked hard for what they have.
